After a long couple summers of restaurants, bars and outdoor events being limited due to the pandemic, a semi-typical summer in Boston is back! From rooftop bars to wine and drink festivals to big barbecues and the beach, cocktails and drinks are critical for a good time.
This summer you will most likely find Cass drinking a Moscow Mule. Moscow Mules are vodka, ginger beer and lime juice. They are usually served in cute copper mugs so they keep your drink cool and are a great addition to your cup collection. The ingredients can be whatever quality fits your budget. Just pour a shot and a half to two shots of vodka into your ginger beer, add as much lime juice as you’d like and its ready to drink! Easy and delicious!
Ally is channeling her basic white girl and is opting for an ice cold hard seltzer. She’s not too picky in which brand: White Claw, Truly, craft. As long as it's not warm, it's for her. Boozy tip: Make your hard seltzer even harder and add a half shot of your favorite vodka or liqueur to add a little extra spice. Not everyone loves hard seltzer, but it’s a great beer substitute for lowkey drinking or long day events to prevent you from going too hard and ending up overboard.
If you want to get fancy and bring a drink for everyone at your next bbq to enjoy, we created the perfect summer sangria recipe! It’s easy to make and is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
